No classes on the holiday weekend. I figure you will all be out barbequing and soaking up the sunshine (think positive.) We will be closed on July 4 only and open as usual on Saturday and Sunday.
Thursday, July 10, 6-8:30, Girls Night Out, our monthly 'sit and bead' with like-minded women. Bring your current project; we'll bring some snacks. The fun just seems to happen! Cost is $5 and this month, the fee will be donated to the American Red Cross to help with the flooding in the midwest.

Saturday, July 12, 1 -3, In Bloom Bracelet. This is the first in a series of 3 classes featuring peyote stitch. This first class will bead around a Swarovski rivoli which will become the centerpiece embellishment of the bracelet. Classes 2 and 3 in August will create the base of the bracelet and additional floral embellishments and show how to connect all the parts. Take one class, two or all 3. Sign up for all 3 & we'll give you a 20% discount on the total cost. Each class will be $25 plus the materials. We will offer you a "kit" consisting of a rivoli and matching beads for $5 or bring some from home. Instructor: Nancy

Saturday, July 19, 1-3, Yo-Yo Bead. This project is taken from the June issue of Bead & Button magazine and a design called Hole in None by Canadian artist Jamie North. It features a unique no-hole bead called a yo-yo and you'll see why! The trick is to turn this bead into a sparkly component that can become earrings, a pendant or strung together to form a bracelet. Cost is $25 plus a kit with all the necessary parts to make earrings and a pendant in 4 color choices for $10. Instructor: Lynn

Saturday, July 26, 1-3, Time on Your Hands, a classic watch made with semi-precious double-drilled stones. We brought back from the bead show a number of beautiful double-drilled stones which are often difficult to find. You can select from crazy lace agate, pink opal, artistic jasper and sardonyx to design a unique double strand timepiece. This makes a great gift for the graduate, heading off to college or a new job. Cost is $20 plus the materials. Instructor: Cherie
All classes are on a first come basis. The instructor has the right to limit seating and a place is not guaranteed until payment is received. Materials are additional except where noted. You are welcome to bring materials from home or purchase them here or elsewhere.
